The habit of writing daily isn’t easy.
There are many mornings where I sit here, staring at a blank page, not being able to put words on the page.
Most of the time when this happens, it’s because I haven’t prepared a topic for the daily blog the evening before.
Or, it’s because I have come up with a topic, but given it very little thought. So, come the next morning when it’s time to write, I’m still trying to process the topic in my head and work out what I want to write about relating to the topic.
When I’m faced with that blank page, it would be the easiest time to give up and come back to it later on.
But, I find if I sit and stare at the blank page and force myself to write, it’s when some of my best writing comes out.
Sometimes we need that blank page to force ourselves to think deep and search for what it is we really think about something.
