If you want to be successful, stop expecting other people to tell you if your idea is a good idea.
Without knowing your whole business/game plan, they are only giving you their thoughts based on their knowledge, experience and personal thoughts. And most people won’t give you their honest opinion anyway.
They’ll lie because they don’t want to hurt your feelings. Or, they’ll lie because they are jealous and fear you succeeding, even if they aren’t consciously aware they are doing it.
You need to put the time in to go figure it out yourself.
Do the research, do the market surveys, do the uncomfortable tasks needed.
