Having the gear

It’s always nice to have new gear.

It may help to do things better, faster or easier.

But most of the time that gear isn’t needed.

Especially when it comes at a cost that isn’t within your budget.

There is always another way to achieve a similar outcome without needing to have the latest and greatest.

Rent the gear, borrow the gear, get a cheaper alternative, or just find a way to use what you already have.

Instead of convincing yourself that you can only to the job with new gear, be resourceful with what you already have.
