You aren’t going to win every battle.
So, the key is knowing when to lose.
When to lose on your terms that is.
You’re going to have losses, so it’s better that you try and choose the ones you’re going to have.
When something isn’t going your way or there are too many possibilities of outcomes, assess the situation. Know everything there is to know. Know all of the different options that you have. Then, make a decision on whether it’s a battle worth fighting for.
If it’s worth it, fight for it. Fight bloody hard for it.
If it’s not, choose how you’re going to lose … as in, how you’re going to exit from the battle.
It’s easier to accept a loss when you are ready for it.
