Setting goals is the first step

If you want to achieve something, setting goals is the first step.

Otherwise, your thoughts will continue to be just thoughts.

By setting goals you are forced to think about what it is that you want and what is needed in order to achieve it. You have to break it down into action steps which can then become your goals.

When I’m setting goals myself, I have my overall life goals that remain constant. Then I set goals every six months that are broken up into areas such as business, personal, health, self improvement and habits.
