When you are struggling to sell something, it generally means one of two things:
- You’re not confident with the product, or
- You’re not confident within yourself.
If you don’t believe in the product, if you don’t understand how the product works, if you know it’s not a good quality product etc., then you aren’t going to feel confident in the product. In this case, either redevelop the product or find something else to sell.
If you’re struggling because you aren’t confident with selling, that’s something that you need to work on. Because it doesn’t matter what you’re trying to sell, if you aren’t confident within yourself, you won’t be able to sell anything. Practice speaking, presenting, writing sales copy, recording videos etc. that will help you to learn how to sell.
To sell something, you need to be confident with the product and confident in your abilities to sell that product. Both are skills are needed.
