The result of anger

Anger is most often the result of unhappiness within ourselves.

We then direct this anger at others in an effort to protect ourselves from hurt, whether it be emotionally, mentally or physically.

Doing this doesn’t fix the problem. At best, it only provides a short term benefit and solution. In most cases though, it further isolates us, causing the anger to keep festering.

To reduce anger, we have to look deep within ourselves. We have to be honest with what is causing the anger. Sometimes this can be done on our own, while other times it is easier to do by talking it out with someone.
