Bouncing ideas

Some of my best ideas have come when I’ve been bouncing ideas off someone else.

The process of thinking about something and finding a way to put it into words that someone else can understand really helps clarify things in my head.

Half the time I just ramble on and the other person doesn’t get a word in, not even when I ask a question because I end up answering it myself.

But it’s a process I value because it helps me determine whether I’m clear on the idea myself. If I struggle to tell someone else about the idea then I know I’m not confident about it and that I need to either do more research and planning or scrap the idea altogether.
