Having full control of your business, in most cases, is the easiest option. You get to set the direction you’re heading in, determine the way you run the business, and the profit is all yours.
However, there are times when it makes morse sense to have a business partner or even multiple partners.
The problem I see though, is that too many businesses do it for the wrong reason.
A business partner is someone who will share in the profits, have a say in your business, and have legal rights and obligations within the business. If you don’t like the idea of this, don’t get a business partner.
The reason for wanting a business partner should be to add value to the business. Not to achieve a short-term goal that you could otherwise do yourself, even if it takes a little longer and requires more hustle from you.
