Comfort Zone

I often wonder about people who have had the same job, same house, and same sort of life for years upon years.

Thinking about it, I suppose I don’t really understand how they can live like this without getting bored or wanting to aim for something more.

But, they seem happy and I understand that everybody is driven in different ways emotionally, mentally and physically.

I think it comes down to comfort zone.

People get comfortable and don’t want change.

Maybe they fear change.

Maybe they don’t know what else is out there.

Maybe they are scared of what people will think or are trying to please everyone around them.

If you are or want to be an entrepreneur, you need to get outside your comfort zone.

The same applies to anyone wanting to just enjoy life and get more out of it.

Stop making excuses as to why you can’t do something or why something can’t happen.

In life, it is up to you to make shit happen. Nobody else will do it for you.

This normally involves doing things that you are not used to doing and have not liked or felt comfortable doing in the past.

Personally, while I have had some great opportunities in business and life, I have missed out on a great many more because I wouldn’t pursue them and go outside my comfort zone. These missed opportunities would equate to millions of dollars in business ideas and lost friendships and connections that could have provided a wealth of value and happiness in my life, both personally and professionally.

Whether I’m comfortable with it or not, I know I have to push myself outside my comfort zone so I’m doing things that will expand my knowledge, connections, friendships, life experiences and opportunities.

If I am going to achieve the success that I want, I have no other choice but to.
